Opportunity: Beinvenidos Food Bank provides emergency and alternative food resources to over 1,000 residents of Northwest Denver. One of the items that they are continuously lacking is fresh produce. This year during the Lent season we will be collecting produce at Highlands Church during the communion time to help supplement that lack. Please consider picking up an extra bag of fruit or vegetables when you are doing your family shopping during the week and bring it with you on Sunday. We will be collecting produce starting March 4th and continuing for the five weeks leading up to Easter Sunday.
