Jesus & Justice in the Public Square: Making the Case for Faithful Advocacy

You’re invited to a special event from 7–8:30 pm Wednesday, April 25 called Jesus and Justice in the Public Square: Making the Case for Faithful Advocacy. The event will feature Colorado State Rep. Leslie Herod, nationally renowned speaker Paula Williams, One Colorado’s Political Director Pinky Reinsch, and a group of biparisan voices who will discuss the importance of Christian advocacy for pro-LGBTQ policies, the current LGBTQ policy landscape (including national/state/local efforts to curtail LGBTQ rights), and what it looks like to fight for equality for ALL God’s children in our community and beyond.
This gathering is FREE and open to the public. It will take place at Highlands Church Denver (2644 West 32nd Avenue). Doors will open at 6 pm, and heavy refreshments will be served. Parking is available at North High, one block west of Highlands Church. The event is co-sponsored by the Union of Affirming Christians, Highlands Church Denver, Denver Community Church, Left Hand Community Church, and the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado.
