In worship this Sunday, Jenny preaches us into the third week of Advent through John 1:5-9 and 19-28. Living in the now and not-yet tension of the season, we find ourselves in the darkness hoping for hope. John, aka, “The Baptist,” sort of the cousin of Jesus, witnesses to the light: Christ coming into the world and into our lives. Our kids join us for the worship service this morning as they kick off the sermon, teaching us about the true light that is coming this Advent, for EVERYONE!
