Worship gatherings are at 10 am Sundays for the Summer.
Each week as we gather to seek and celebrate God together, we re-tell God’s story of love for all of creation. This story remains fresh and alive because we are each living participants, finding ourselves within it. The ritual of Communion is the central part of our worship, and is open to anyone who is hungry for God. Communion is flanked by ancient/contemporary liturgy and music, and a 25-minute sermon. The arts are a big part of our story-telling, with an emphasis on music because of its accessibility and historic, cultural role in humanity’s rituals and celebrations. Some weeks we may include an ancient ritual re-imagined, or we may invite silence for reflection. We also include a time of offering in our gatherings because we think generosity is borne of gratitude and experience. We provide a place for those who want to give as part of their worship, but we never want anyone to feel pressure.
Everyone is invited to participate in whatever way feels comfortable, including simply sitting and observing. Our goal is to worship God with our whole selves – body, mind, emotions and soul – and to do it as a community.
